Recently, Apple has officially acknowledged a bug related to mobile data and SIM cards, affecting iPhone 14 users.
According to MacRumors, Apple acknowledges that some iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max users may see a SIM Not Supported message on the screen. After the notification appears, the iPhone may freeze completely.
Apple says it’s investigating the issue, stressing it’s not a hardware issue, and users only need to update the software to fix it.
In addition, the company also recommends that consumers wait a few minutes to see if the notification goes away. Otherwise, you should go directly to Apple Store or authorized units for technical support, instead of factory reset.
This isn’t the first time Apple has acknowledged problems with the iPhone. Previously, iPhone 14 users also complained about some issues related to activation, camera shake… and both bugs were resolved in iOS 16 updates.
Apple is currently testing iOS 16.1, which is expected to launch later this month.
