iPhone 14 Pro screen, the “rabbit ears” will disappear, replaced by a “punch” camera combined with a sensor-containing area that looks like a capsule.
Ice Universe, the Twitter account that makes many accurate predictions about Apple’s unreleased device, has posted a close-up image of the screen defect, which is believed to be a model of the iPhone 14 Pro screen.
The camera and sensor cluster is divided into two separate parts, forming a horizontal “i” shape. The bright circle part is where the selfie camera is located, while the other area has two holes located on the black background, where the Face ID sensor and other identification sensors are located.
In the photo, the part containing the sensor is clearly visible. However, according to BGR, this part will be covered with a black background on the commercial iPhone 14 Pro.
Before measuring, analyst Ming-chi Kuo said that this new screen design is only applied on two Pro versions of iPhone 14, while the other two models still use “rabbit ears”. According to BGR, the horizontal i-style design has both increased the aesthetics of the new generation iPhone and increased Apple’s brand recognition.
The iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max duo will also be heavily upgraded in configuration with the new generation A16 chip, 48-megapixel main camera. Meanwhile, the iPhone 14 and 14 Max use a variant of the A15 chip with lower performance and a 12-megapixel camera.
