Apple launched the iPhone 14 series with two Pro versions that changed the screen design to a pill-shaped defect while the mini version was officially “killed” and replaced by the iPhone 14 Plus with a large 6.7-inch screen but the price cheaper than the Pro Max version.
At 10 am on September 9 (US time), at 0:00 on September 8 in Vietnam, four versions of iPhone 14 were officially launched at Apple’s headquarters under the name “Far Out”.
Apple officially introduced iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus with screens of 6.1 inches and 6.7 inches, respectively. The mini line is officially “dead”.
Apple calls the iPhone 14 Plus the iPhone with the best battery ever made. The product is equipped with the old A15 Bionic chip, with 5 GPU cores, increasing graphics processing capabilities.
One of the highlights of the camera on the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus is that the main camera increases the sensor size. The main lens has an aperture of f/1.5, which helps to capture more light.
The device captures 49% brighter photos than its predecessor, in complex conditions. Meanwhile, the front camera still has a resolution of 12 MP, the same aperture of F / 1.9 with autofocus capability.
Apple talks about a new feature called “Ponotic Engine”, which helps to combine photos, adjust in low light conditions. The movie recording function has more action options, supporting more effective anti-shake. A company representative said that software-based anti-shake capabilities can be as effective as using a gimbal.
In addition, Apple is said to be promoting the popularity of eSIM. The company calls this technology more secure and harder to steal. Accordingly, all new iPhones sold in the US will no longer have a SIM slot. “eSIM offers a simpler way to activate and use an iPhone,” said an Apple representative.
iPhone 14 series is integrated with accident detection like Apple Watch Series 8. The new product integrates the relief feature via low-altitude satellite network. The user can select a satellite and send an emergency message. This is an emergency feature, instead of satellite calls as recently rumored.
This feature will be available from November and free for the first 2 years for iPhone 14 users. Additionally, the tool is only available in the US and Canada.
iPhone 14 Pro is the next iPhone model introduced with 48MP main camera, A16 Bionic processor on 4nm process, Always-On display feature, wider screen border, bright brightness. 2,000 nits, satellite connection to send SOS emergency messages,…
Accordingly, the iPhone 14 Pro was revealed with a notch on the front instead of a pill shape. Inside contains the TrueDepth camera system, while the proximity sensor is located under the screen.
The interface of iPhone 14 Pro is also changed to optimize the new hole. The first is a new way to display a notification, called Dynamic Island. When there is a notification, the pop-up will enlarge from the hole. Notifications such as charging the battery, turning on the vibration mode will expand from the hole through the software effect.
The iPhone 14 Pro’s LED flash is completely new, with the ability to automatically adjust the array of lights to light up based on the focus of the photo. Similar to iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro’s camera supports Photonic Engine for better low-light photography.
iPhone 14 Pro also supports action movie mode for better stabilization. Portrait video recording (cinematic) now supports 4K recording at 30 fps or 24 fps. Features such as vehicle accident detection, autofocus for the front camera, and emergency communication via satellite also appear on the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max duo.
iPhone 14 Pro starts at $ 999, while iPhone 14 Pro Max is $ 1,099, with up to 1 TB of internal memory, both products are available from September 16.
